David was a deeply creative and spiritual soul whose perspective on life inspired everyone around him. He moved through the world with intention, curiosity and a quiet confidence that drew people in.
Much of who he was, he credited to his mother— his closest confidant and creative partner. Their bond was profound, rooted in a shared love for travel, art, and personal expression. Together, they created a world of beauty, purpose and connection that extended far beyond themselves.
He also shared a strong and loving relationship with his father, Big Dave, who instilled in him a passion for sports and discipline. Whether on the football field or the basketball court, David carried that same presence— focused, expressive and driven.
Raised in an environment that nurtured excellence, individuality and inclusivity, David was never confined by traditional paths. While he began his career in modeling, it quickly became clear that his vision expanded beyond the lens, his spirit pulling him behind the camera - becoming a storyteller, a curator and a cultural architect.
David dreamed of building a creative agency that merged art, fashion and culture in an authentic and transformative way. In a short time, he brought that vision to life—producing compelling brand content, directing a release campaign featuring LaRoyce Hawkins, organizing a merchandise photoshoot for the McDonald's All-American Games, and leading the creative direction for the retirement announcement of NBA legend, Andre Iguodala. His work reflected a rare ability to merge storytelling with cultural authenticity.
David was more than a creative, he was a visionary. His presence, his ideas and his spirit left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.
The David Amarri Foundation exists to honor his legacy: to nurture creativity, uplift culture and continue the work he was only just beginning.
